It is just 4 kilometers east of captivating Hoi An and approximately 30 kilometers south of Da Nang’s vibrant city center. Thanh Dong Organic Farm was established in January 2013, spanning 6,386m2 of land and nurtured by the labor of 10 dedicated households. Born from the visionary collaboration of Cam Thanh PPC, the Hoi An Economic Department, and the Action Center for City Development, Thanh Dong Organic Farm stands as a testament to the power of collective action in fostering sustainable agriculture. In 2016, recognizing the growing customer demand, Thanh Dong expanded by an additional 4000 m2. Today, Thanh Dong holds the esteemed recognition of Hoi An PGS certification, a testament to its commitment to quality and sustainability.

Beginning as a local garden, Thanh Dong organic farm has blossomed into a sample of sustainable agriculture, inspired by the Tra Que Vegetable village. It flourishes as a haven for fresh, organic produce, following the core principle of “Healthy Community, Happy Farmers!”.
Each plot within Thanh Dong is meticulously surrounded by elephant grass as a natural barrier. Visit Thanh Dong farm, you will discover a vibrant tapestry of vegetables and herbs. For example, cabbage, tomatoes, squash, corn, mint, and many vegetables, and herbs flourish by dedicated farmers.
Thanh Dong Vegetable Garden proudly upholds the strict organic farming practices. They commit to being free of chemical fertilizers, genetically modified seeds, pesticides, and growing stimulants. This commitment is further validated by their prestigious PGS certification, a national standard for organic production and processing in Vietnam. It means exceptionally clean, environmentally friendly vegetables prioritizing consumer safety and environmental well-being.
